Both of these directors attempted to reinvigorate the genre with movies featuring the human civilization moving on after their zombie apocalypse until they encountered evolved smart zombies! We watched legendary writer and director George Romero's Land of the Dead and the king of the director cut, Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead.

Cursed with production issues, behind the scenes drama, and poor reception of previous DCEU movies, they decided to remake Justice league before it even premiered resulting in box office bomb featuring some of the most recognizable characters ever created.
