With IT being a huge hit, Hollywood figured we were in a Stephen King renaissance. Pet Sematary was decent. The Stand tgot another mini series event. Obviously Firestarter needed to be remade with a joint launch on Peacock and in theaters. The 1984 Firestater was not well received but could this remake with Zac Efron be the kindling for a new Firestarter franchise?
