Remake Rewind: Batman Returns & The Batman

It was only a few years ago that we did a Batman special because of Justice League but because Warner Bros. is a dumpster fire, we have yet another reboot of Batman! Auteur director Matt Reeves is taking a swing with controversial pick of star Robert Pattinson. Can Matt Reeves deliver on his promise of an on screen Batman that we have never seen before , one who is actually the world's greatest detective? We will find out as we compare 2022's The Batman with 1992's Batman Returns. Both films feature a fairly new Batman in Gotham, clashing with the Penguin and Catwoman.
